Just north of the city limits is the Trinity Valley Community College, found at the intersection of State Hwy. 19 and US 287.  There are courses in cosmetology, vocational nursing, mid-management, criminal justice, computer science, business and office technology, and more. 

In addition, there's an extension campus in the city for the University of Texas at Tyler, offering courses in business, nursing, education, history, health and kinesiology.
